Wigglytuff has a plethora of options, but it may be best suited to do more simple things. This set utilizes its respectable defenses and ability to dole out status. Thunder Wave and Sing and ensure that Wiggly can dish out something to almost anything that comes in, and can create serious status issues for the opposing team. Should an obvious physical attack come around, use Counter to throw it back for a knock out. With 429 HP and 199 Defense, it should survive any physical attack, even Choice Banded, save STAB Focus Punches or other high damage Fighting-type attacks. Seismic Toss is the most reliable attack to use in this set as it dishes out consistent damage, especially in the NU environment with few to no ghosts.Nome Moveset Strumento Natura Aiutante Avanzi Scaltra Mosse EVs ~ Levitoroccia

With a great list of support options, Wigglytuff can support the team effectively as well. With such high HP, the ability to set up Stealth Rock is certainly there. It learns both Reflect and Light Screen, so choose the one that you feel supports your team the best. Wiggly’s stats also allow it to be a successful Wisher for the team. The last option can be either Seismic Toss or Protect. Protect ensures hit point recovery in a pinch after Wish is used, but having a Pokémon with zero offensive capability is often a liability. If that is a concern, use Seismic Toss.Nome Moveset Strumento Natura Bandasceltaro Bandascelta Decisa Mosse EVs ~ Gelopugno

This angry Wigglytuff is a mean, pink, punchin’ dude. An all-out attacking Wigglytuff is far from expected and the element of surprise can deal a lot of damage. Body Slam is the primary attack with STAB and the ability to paralyze, while the elemental punch combination is for type coverage. Wigglytuff actually has a slight better Special Attack. Most Normal-types prefer physical choice sets as that allows them to utilize the almost entirely physical STAB normal move pool. Hyper Voice gives this set the chance to inflict STABbed Normal damage on the special spectrum. However, Soundproof foes can ruin this fun. Shadow Ball and Focus Blast combine for great coverage. If the accuracy issue on Focus Blast is a turnoff, Hidden Power Fighting can be used. This leaves little room for a fourth move from a huge list of options, but it pretty much boils down to Thunderbolt versus Ice Beam.Nome Moveset Strumento Natura Vortexpalloso Avanzi Audace Mosse EVs IVs ~ Vortexpalla

~ Canto/Tossina/Schermoluce/Tuononda162 Att. / 96 Dif / 252 Dif.Sp 0 Vel Poor speed can help make Wigglytuff an effective Gyro Ball user. Counter fits well on this set because of the low speed. While Body Slam is the premiere normal move on Wiggly’s platter, the added paralysis may be a turn-off given the intended use of Gyro Ball here, so Return is used instead. Light Screen can be used to encourage physical attacks to meet with Counter, or you can select from a solid list of status inflictions.
Other Options
Including the moves on the special attacking set, Wigglytuff has an incredible special move pool. Grass Knot, Flamethrower, and Psychic are options in addition to the moves already listed. Charge Beam can be used on a special attacking set without Choice Specs for versatility. This Pokémon can also learn Perish Song. Knock Off can work on the support set to rob an opponent of their item.
EVs
In general, with Wigglytuff's high HP but low defenses, look at pumping up defense stats before HP. Also invest in the attacking stat being used, unless set damage is your only means of offense. As such, the EVs listed on the first two sets give even defenses at about 200 with no attacking investment. If you want to make Wigglytuff more specialized in one defense, you can direct its nature and EVs in that area, while giving it some HP. This Pokémon is slow and speed is generally wasted here.
Opinion
Wigglytuff is a prime example of a jack of all trades, but master of none. Excellent hit points are spoiled by subpar defensive statistics, although good enough in combination to take a good deal of abuse. Neither of Wigglytuff’s attack stats are impressive either, making it a great candidate for a team supporter. Luckily, this fella has what it takes to do that with its impressive movepool. In the end, though, this Pokémon will end up again in the depths of NU.
Counters
Overall, anything with a recovery move will usually outlast Wigglytuff as its offenses are not potent enough to take things out quickly. Luckily, Wigglytuff will usually emerge with the element of surprise, regardless of what metagame it is used in, to unleash at least some agony. Obviously, it functions best in NU, where it has no surefire counters.
