Forzabruta aumenta del 30% la potenza di tutte le mosse con effetti secondari positivi, ma impedisce il verificarsi di tali effetti. L'abilità non ha effetto su mosse con effetti secondari negativi come contraccolpo (es. Sdoppiatore), turni di ricarica (es. Iper Raggio o Volo) o riduzione delle statistiche di chi le usa (es. Troppoforte). Tuttavia, mosse con effetti secondari sia positivi che negativi (come Fuococarica) subiscono il poteziamento di Forzabruta mantenendo però gli effetti negativi. Forzabruta previene il contraccolpo dovuto all'Assorbisfera, mantenendo il potenziamento ad essa dovuto, solamente quando il Pokémon usa una mossa potenziata dall'abilità. Forzabruta nega anche l'effetto di Conchinella, *Eject Button* e *Red Card*.

Mawile causa STAB buoni in DP,ma l'assenza di mosse Terra nel suo movepool è un punto a sfavore.Può adoperare CentriPugno per contrastare i tipi Acciacio come Probopass che è uno dei maggiori nemici.IperTaglio garantisce il mantenimento degli effetti di DanzaSpada

Mawile in genere non riesce ad organizzare abbstanza velocemente il setup delle statiche con DanzaSpada,ecco perchè un set con BendaScelta è più appropriato.Sia IperTaglio che Intimidazione hanno i loro pro qui,perciò si può scegliere quello che si crede.Nonostante il movepool di Mawile sia sufficiente,è ancora troppo debole nella Coverage a causa della mancanza di attacchi Terra.

Grazie a Staffetta Mawile può aumentare le statistiche di attacco e difesa, ma il suo tipo acciaio e la sua scarsa velocità non lo rendono un buon candidato per questa strategia: solo nelle tier inferiori questo procedimento potrebbe andare a buon fine.
Ricordiami anche che Accumulo incrementa la difesa e la difesa speciale di Mawile di un livello portando allo stesso risultato a cui si giungerebbe usando cosmoforza.

Another Baton Pass set, using Sing, which Mawile can learn after purification in XD. If Salac Berry gets activated, whether via Endure or not, you use Sing, assuming you're now faster than the foe, then Swords Dance while the foe is switching out and Baton Pass the attack and Speed boosts to a counter.

Altre Opzioni

Mawile learns Ice Punch and ThunderPunch through the Emerald Move Tutors, and Ice Fang and Thunder Fang through breeding. If you want to try to spring a rather gimmicky surprise, you can make use of its rather nice special movepool, including Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Grass Knot, Shadow Ball, Flash Cannon, Charge Beam and Dark Pulse. Counter is a good option on Mawile given his defensive typing and Intimidate, and can work in conjunction with Taunt and/or Focus Sash.

EVs

For the first two sets, you can trade a few HP EVs and put them in Speed, but don’t expect Mawile to outspeed too many things, even in the low tiers.

Considerazioni

Mawile got a physical STAB move in DP, and little else. Don’t expect this fact to propel Mawile out of the lower tiers any time soon.

Counters

Anything with a good Ground, Fighting, Fire, Water or Electric move that can outspeed Mawile is a counter to it. Sadly for Mawile, that includes the majority of attacking Pokémon.
